LONG, Willard Franklin - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, November 1, 2020. Services will be held 6:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Willard was born July 11, 1938 in Pennington Gap, VA, the son of Pete and Ollie Mae (Parsons) Long. He married Mary Louise Gifford November 11, 1961 in Flint. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1979 coming from Flint. He was employed by Graff Chevrolet in the Auto Body Repair department. Willard enjoyed hunting, woodworking, restoring old cars, going to car shows and car cruises. Surviving are: his wife, Mary; son, Logan LaClair of Holly; granddaughter, Hunter Margaret LaClair; brothers, Tom Long of Virginia and Jess Long of Florida; sister, Loretta Robinson of Indiana; brother-in-law, Richard Gifford of Flint; and nieces and nephews.
