Willard Arthur, 'Bill' HERRICK

HERRICK, Willard Arthur, "Bill" age 74, of Flint, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at his home. Services will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Bill was born February 22, 1936 in Flint the son of Herbert A. and Cora H. (Francis) Herrick. He retired from AT&T / Ameritech after 38 years and was a member of the Communication Workers of America Local 4103. Bill also worked with Squeels on Wheels Catering beginning in 1988. He enjoyed traveling, blooper ball, camping, golfing, playing pool, riding his motorcycle and just being outdoors. Bill had a great love for his family and friends. Cherishing his memory are his daughters, Cindy and Karen, his son-in-law Michael, as well as his grandchildren Jennifer, Billie, Stephanie, Samantha, "Drew", Andrew Ronald, and Taylor; his great grandchildren Zach, Todd Jr. and Ayden; his sister Carol and his sister-in-law Barb. Bill was very close to his nephews and nieces, as well as their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Beverly, his youngest daughter, Angela and four brothers: Bob, Dale, Don, and Ed Herrick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County, in memory of George, Bill's beloved and 'bestest' friend.
