JOHNSTON, Wilber H. 'Bud' Â Age 86, of Clio, died Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Genesys Health Park. A Memorial service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7254 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville. Pastor Michael Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12-4 & 6-8 PM Monday at Sharp Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Richfield Church of the Nazarene. Wilber was born October 26, 1919 in Montrose, the son of Charles and Edith Johnston. Mr. Johnston was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. He owned and operated W.H. Johnston Real Estate, Inc. for over 50 years. He also owned A Johnston Kennels. Mr. Johnston was a member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene and Mt. Morris Kiwanis, where he served as past president. Surviving are his wife, Jeannine; children, Virginia (Roger) Lambert, Pamela (Donald) Price, Rebecca (Wayne) Slocum, Jeffery Johnston, Rob (Cindy) Sonneville, Amy (Michael) Kiefer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, John (Olga) Johnston; sisters, Marjorie Hollingshead and Mary Jane McIntosh; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Charlie Boots; great-granddaughter, Courtney Boots.
