Wenona Schimpf

Wenona Jean (Roller) Schimpf, of Flushing Michigan died Wednesday, January, 11, 2023.  Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 16, 2023 at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 Elms Road, Flint.  Pastor Brent Kriesch officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to Faith Missionary Church.
Born in Arbela Township, May 12, 1934 to Rudolph and Doris (Rosencrants) Roller. Attended Millington High School, and was a RN graduate of Nazareth College - Division of Nursing, St Joseph Unit 1955.  Wenona went on to work at St Joseph and Hurley Hospitals, both in Flint.
Wenona married Alexander Schimpf in 1957, they resided in Flint and then Flushing where together they raised 4 daughters.
Wenono is survived by her husband, Alexander Schimpf,  children, Joleen Rigan, Jenny (Timothy) Petersen, Amy (David) Skrzela, Jane (Jeff) Lloyd,  grandchildren Jessica (Skrzela) & Ryan Espy, Matthew & Debra Kimmel, Michael and Carly Rigan, Alexander Lloyd, Emily Lloyd, and Andrew Lloyd,  great grandchildren, Harrison, Graham, Flynn, Ellianna and Kyrie, sisters and brothers, Mary Jane Shreve, Lynda (Richard) Leix, Frank (Dorothy) Lee, Patricia (Larry) Cleveland, Terrance (Marilyn) Lee, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Wenona was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Lee,  her father, Rudolph Roller, her stepfather, Rolland Lee,  her brother, Durward Roller, and son-in-laws: Gary Kimmel and Dan Rigan.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
