McCOMB, Wendell Jason - Age 51, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, October 18, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wendell McComb Memorial Fund. Wendell was born June 5, 1959 in Flint, the son of Weldon and Sammie (Bullington) McComb. Wendell was employed by Delta Tube in Holly. He was also a musician, playing bass guitar and vocals for Southern Cross Band. Surviving are: fiancee, Toni Church of Clio; children, Heavenly and Wyatt McComb, Brittney McComb, and Holly, Tammi and Toni Church; brother, Weldon McComb II of Midland; sister, Cindy and husband Steven Sheridan of Swartz Creek; nieces and nephews.
