Wendell Hunt

Hunt, Wendell Herbert - Age 84, of Flint Township, died October 13, 2017. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes- Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00PM Monday. Tuesday from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Wendell was born on February 13, 1933 in Forest Township, Michigan to Charles and Blanche Hunt. Mr. Hunt is a veteran of the United States Army. He married Florence Mitchell on June 9, 1956. He retired from Bestway Building Supply after 50 years of service. He enjoyed square dancing, camping, cross country skiing. He was an avid "whistler".Surviving are wife, Florence; three children, Robin (Rick) Ham of Fenton, Dave of Linden, and Brian (Michelle) of Fenton; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Rhyannon (Matt), Tony (Lindsay), Eric (Lia), Lee, Caitlin (Travis) and Piercyn; seven great-grandchildren, Mason, Lilly, Ethan, Hayden, Lila, Amelia, and Nolan; sisters, Audrey ( Lewis) Hardy and Evelyn Tanks; brothers, Arthur and John; several nieces and nephews.
