Wayne Alan YOUNG

YOUNG, Wayne Alan -- Age 40, of Swartz Creek, died June 14, 2011 of complications of Leukemia. Funeral Services will be 12 Noon Saturday, June 18 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Fr. Gene Geromel officiating. Visitation 2-8 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the family. Wayne was born December 5, 1970 in Flint. He married Desiree Starr Tremble on September 25, 1993 in Swartz Creek. He enjoyed working on cars, antique cars, race cars, and anything to do with cars. He made friends wherever he went. Wayne achieved his dream and took his family to Disney before his illness. Surviving are: wife Desiree; two sons Nathanial and Seth; grandmother Dorothy Borey; step-father, Joe Schaffer; his Tremble/Butch family that he came to love when he married Desiree; his friend Miss Ellie; good friends, Red, Ken, Kevin and Chuck. The family extends a sincere thanks to their special friend Sheila and the ICU staff at McLaren. He was preceded in death by his mother Karen; and grandfather Wayne Borey.
