MAY, Wayne Dallas - Age 93, of Flint, died May 18, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday June 1 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Wednesday May 30 and 1-8PM Thursday May 31 at the funeral home. Wayne was born February 13, 1925 the son of the late Gordon Leroy and Hilda Lillian (Parlberg) May. He married Nancy Soules in Flint on January 27, 1961. Wayne was a member of American Legion and the Burton Eagles. He enjoyed hiking with his dog Duke, camping, deer hunting, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Wayne proudly served his county in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. May retired in 1987 from the General Motors Chevrolet V-8 plant with 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Flint; daughter, Katholine Marie May of Flint; 3 grandchildren, Robbie, Amy, Dylan; 5 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Ashton, Bailey, Nevaeh, Savannah; grand fur-babies, Sheldon, Maxwell, Punkie, Duke, Little, and Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Debra; brothers, Donald and Delver May; sister, Noreen Stone.
