Wayne Browning

BROWNING, Wayne William - Age 55, of Flint, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Wayne William Browning Memorial Fund, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Wayne was born October 8, 1962 in Flint, the son of Gordon and Donna Jean (Burdick) Browning. He was a 1980 graduate of Fenton High School. He married Joni Marie Kelsey July 16, 1993 in Flint. He was a member of the Carpenter Union #1234. Surviving are: his wife, Joni; daughters, Toni (Nathen) Browning-Barnett of Flint and Danielle Jaggers of Flint; 8 grandchildren, Emili Rose, Alivia, Aliyah, Noah, Jacelyn, Christian, Justice, and Masen; brothers, Bruce Browning and Ray Browning; sister, Joyce (Gary) Dowling of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Denise Browning; very special nephew, Ashton Ewing of Flushing; and several other special nieces and nephews; special friends, Loren Allen of Davison and Allen Clegett of Flint. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Donna Jean Browning. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Hurley Genesys Cancer Institute and the nurses at Hurley in the ICU.
