Wayne A. BRANDT

BRANDT, Wayne A., age 67 of Burton, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral Service will be 3PM Monday, November 2, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Kelly Todd officiating. Visitation will be 12-3PM Monday at the funeral home. Wayne was born April 6, 1942 in Flint the son of Armin and Ruth (Chamberlin) Brandt. He married Patricia Miller July 8, 1989 in Burton, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Wayne went through a lot in the last four years, and never complained. He was one tough guy. Surviving are his wife, Pat of Burton; son, Jodie (Michelle) Brandt of Traverse City; 2 stepchildren, Darrin (Ann) Ray of Flint Twp, Lora Ray of Burton; 2 grandchildren, Linsey Brandt and Orlan Ray; father, Armin; 2 sisters, Lisa and Pam; 5 brothers, Don, Daryl, Kevin, Mike and Tom. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth and brother, Eagan. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Genesys Health Park for the care and kindness during Wayne's illness.
