Wayne Allman

ALLMAN, Wayne Dene- Age 76, of Swartz Creek, died April 30, 2016. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, May 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Wayne was born October 19, 1939 the son of Harold and Marion (Bennett) Allman in Gladwin County. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He married Dorothy Mattis on October 16, 1960. Wayne retired from General Motors-Chevrolet Metal Fabrication. He was a member of the Durand Amvets #2273 and the Durand Eagles. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Dorothy; children, Tina Beard and Lisa Allman of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Stephanie Fenn of Charlotte, NC and Madelyn and Brandon Beard of Raleigh, NC; siblings, Vern Allman, Ham Allman, Joyce Campbell, Joanne Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
