Lucke, Wanita I. - age 96, passed at her residence Monday, November 21, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lucke lived a simple life growing up and living on the same farm all her life. She married James Lucke on June 6, 1938. They had a happy life together for 36 years. She devoted her whole life to taking care of her family and farm. She was a member of the United Methodist Women. She leaves behind daughter, Eileen Hamblin; granddaughter, Laurel (Nathan) Charles; great grandchildren, James, Jessica, Jason, Justin and Daniel. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James, and granddaughter, Amanda Hamblin.
