JOHNSON, Wanda Mary (Lemmon) Â Age 80, of Flint, died suddenly January 17, 2004 in Spring Hill, Florida where she was wintering. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just south of Hill Rd.), Flint with Rev. Mark Laslay officiating. Interment will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM Â 9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Mrs. Johnson was born to Raymond and Mabel (Cooper) Lemmon on June 30, 1923 in Muskegon, MI. She married Kenneth A. Johnson in Flint March 15, 1947; they were married for 48 years before he preceded her in death. Mrs. Johnson attended Bethany Missionary Baptist Church where she was a beloved member of the congregation. Following the death of her husband, she moved into the home of her eldest son where she enjoyed the chaotic comings and goings of her family. She decorated wedding and birthday cakes for over 25 years. Mrs. Johnson leaves to cherish fond memories: three sons, Kenneth R. (Peggy), Gary V. (Sharon) and Kevin W. (Sheryl); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Dick) Farnsworth; brother, Vern (Shirley) Lemmon; two brothers-in-law, Carl Forrester and Howard Haan; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Marie Roop.
