Wanda Maurine BURDT

BURDT, Wanda Maurine, age 86, of Flint, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Avalon Hospice. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to American Lung Association. Wanda was born September 26, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of the late Carman and Pearl (Ruby) Newman. She was employed at A.C. Spark Plug for 30 years and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving are her son, Lawrence and wife Shari of Swartz Creek; 3 grandchildren, Shannan(David) Clemenshaw of Swartz Creek, Darrin (Angela) Burdt of Mt. Morris, Cortney (Jeff) Kelley of Swartz Creek; 5 great-grandchildren, Khyl Clemenshaw of Scottsdale, AZ, Ashley and Logan Burdt of Mt. Morris, Mackenzie and Lynnzie Kelley of Swartz Creek; sister, Pauline (Juluis) Lazar; brothers, Harold (Rosemary) Newman of Saginaw; Gene Newman of Richmond, VA; and many loving nieces and nephews.
