WILCOX, Walter "Wally" Andrew - Age 52, of Swartz Creek, loving husband and father of two, entered eternity on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, May 19 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor James Mascow officiating. Visitation will be held 3PM-8PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held 12PM until time of service at the church Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or to Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church. Wally was born December 26, 1964 in Flint, the son of Duane and Jacqueline (Holly) Wilcox. He was a 1983 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and Ohio Diesel Tech. Wally was an Eagle Scout, a member of Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, and past member of the Mustang Club of Mid-Michigan and Michigan Cruisers. He was a multi-certified Master Heavy Duty Diesel Truck and Auto Mechanic and was employed by Koegel Meats for 16 years and Pepsi for the past 16 years. He loved getting his hands greasy and dirty working on anything with a motor, from lawn mowers to semi-trucks and was a classic car enthusiast. Wally was the most considerate person you could know, always putting the needs of others before himself. Everyone loved "Wally Hugs." He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lorrie Ann (Wrigglesworth) Wilcox; sons, Andrew Scott and Adam Lee Wilcox; parents, Duane and Jacqueline (Holly) Wilcox; father-in- law, Paul (Cynthia) Wrigglesworth. Wally is also survived by his brothers, Len (Jennifer) Wilcox, Bob (Becky) Wilcox; sister, Caroline (Rodney) Epps; brother-in-law, Scott (Jill) Wrigglesworth, sister-in-law, Denise Vincent; many nieces and nephews; extended family, Feng and Michelle Myers. He was preceded in death by his mother -in-law, Lois (McWain) Wrigglesworth and his grandparents, Ivan and Bernita Wilcox and Phyllis Holly and uncle, Dennis Holly.
