Walter Weaver

WEAVER, Walter Oliver - Age 71, of Swartz Creek/Oscoda, died Saturday, March 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 and Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Walter was born January 14, 1944 in Highland Park the son of Francis Ralph and Mary Jane (Moran) Weaver. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Navy. He also was a Merchant Marine for over 40 years. Surviving are: brother, John Weaver of Rochester Hills; sister, Kathleen Weaver of Flint; niece (daughter) Shawna Fay King and spouse Larry Spohn II of Swartz Creek; nephews, Shane Daly and spouse Jackie Pyeatt, Robert Weaver and spouse Roxanne; great nieces and nephews, Caitlin Harrington, Cameron King, Travis, Rylan, and Mason; many other nieces and nephews and friends.
