WALDEN, Walter Morris - Age 71, of Flint, died, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Port Orange, FL. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Mr. Walden was born October 16, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Clyde and Elva (Gunnells) Walden. He married Emma R. Hensley June 2, 1962 in Flint. He had resided in Flint most of his life. Mr. Walden retired in 1993 from AC Spark Plug after 34 years of service. Surving are: wife, Emma; daughter, Rebecca and husband Lynn Clubb of Swartz Creek; 2 grandchildren, Andrew Clubb of Swartz Creek and Jennifer and husband Danny Nemer of Swartz Creek; 4 great granddaughters, Samantha, Danielle, Nicole and Jadelyn; brother, Marvin and wife Carol Walden; 2 nephews, Tony and Christopher Walden.
