Walter Allen WAGNER

WAGNER, Walter Allen - age 76, of Flint, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Genesys Health Park due to compli-cations of Huntington's disease. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 10, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Deacon Bill Storm officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Wednesday and 2-4 & 6-9 PM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to HDSA of Michigan (hdsa-mi.com). Mr. Wagner was born April 6, 1933 in Flint, the son of Howard and Dorothy (Seibert) Wagner. He was a 1951 graduate of Kearsley High School. Mr. Wagner was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Betty Lou Lehr on May 23, 1959. Mr. Wagner retired from GM Truck and Bus in 1985. Surviving are: three children, Steven Wagner, Gail (Gerry) Desgrange, Deanna (Bill) Campbell; son-in-law, James Campbell, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Pamela Wagner; nine grandchildren, Kristin (Jason), Shawn, Jimmy, Jeff, Gerami, Chad, Tim, Tony and Melissa; one great-grandchild, Kory; brother, Douglas (Ruth) Wagner.
