Walter Lebeau

LeBEAU, Walter Joseph - Age 102, of Swartz Creek, went to be with the Lord, hopefully, Monday, December 16, 2019. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass has been postponed to a later date.  Those desiring may make contributions to Catholic Relief Services.

Walter was born March 12, 1917, the son of Joseph and Edwilda (Christian) LeBeau. He married Evelyn Gayon June 12, 1940 in Stephenson and she preceded him in death January 27, 2017. He owned and operated Capital Barber Shop in Flint for many years before retiring in 1995. He had resided in the Flint area since 1942. Walter was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are: his children, Cheryl (Dale) Hasselbring of Oxford, Darryl (Yvonne) LeBeau of Tacoma, WA, and Cynthia LeBeau of Villa Grove, IL; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; sons, Keith and Dwayne LeBeau; daughter, Donna Alvarez; grandson, Kevin Minzer; and 6 brothers and 3 sisters
