Walter Buczek

BUCZEK, Walter J. - Age 81, of Lennon, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016. A celebration of life will be held 2 PM Saturday May 14, 2016 at UAW local 598, 3293 Van Slyke Rd., Flint. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Walter was born June 5, 1934 in Alcona County, the son of Walter Joseph and Louise Ellen (Slater) Buczek. Walter served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from GM in 1996 with 33 years of service. He was a long standing member of UAW Local 598. Walter is survived by his two daughters, Debra (Jeff) Bruton and Tammy Derby; grandsons, Jason Buczek and Cole Bruton; granddaughter, Eva Derby; great-grandson, Dylan; brother, Bill; step-children, Jerry, Mark, Timothy and Martin Look, Valerie Behm; many step-grandchildren; niece, Cheryl Buczek. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia and wife Eva ; daughter, Jennie Buczek; step-son, Mike Look; step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Look; nephews, Martin and Scott Buczek.
