Walter Edward BRABBS

BRABBS, Walter Edward, age 75, of Grand Blanc, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Rev. Shirley Ranck officiating. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday and 2PM Saturday until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association. Walter was born July 2, 1934 in Davison Township the son of Theodore and Irma (Sheldon) Brabbs. He married Dolores VanAlstine on July 28, 1956 in Flint. Walter was employed by General Motors for 42 years retiring in 1986 as an electrician, and was a member of U.A.W. Local 599. Surviving are wife, Dolores of Grand Blanc; children, Carrie Bailey (Gary) of Grosse Pointe Park, Michael Brabbs (Carol) of Flushing, Elizabeth Morrison (Fiance, Chris Stormont) of Berkley, Timothy Brabbs (Christiana) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Stephen Brabbs (Julie) of Ann Arbor; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael Brabbs of Lapeer, Kay Reider (Russell) of Burton, Victoria Webb (Robert) of Swartz Creek, Harold Brabbs (Ellen) of Vero Beach, FL, Deborah Rudolph (Dale) of Grand Blanc.
