Walter Ashley

ASHLEY, Walter Joseph - Age 79, of Holly, passed away February 4, 2023. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Walter was born October 30, 1943 in Flint, the son of Francis Marion and Verna Ann (Bukowski) Ashley. Mr. Ashley retired from General Motors. He loved playing pool, gardening and traveling. He enjoyed the outdoors, being in nature and was environmentally conscious. He is survived by his brothers, Robert Ashley and Roger (Mary) Ashley; children, David Bedell, Michelle Maylum and Walter Joseph Ashley II; step-daughter, Erin Evans Leonard; grandchildren, nieces and nephews; longtime friends, Bob Petke and Darrell Berry.
