ANGER, Walter Raymond "Sam" - Age 68, of Flint, died peacefully at his home, Thursday August 4, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Visitation will be held 10AM - 1PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Walter was born December 31, 1947 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Edwin Raymond and Edith Kathleen (Gage) Anger. Sam was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1978, after 8 years of service. Sam reenlisted in the Navy and retired in 1993, after serving the country for 23 years. He enjoyed drinking coffee, collecting baseball cards, collecting other things he liked, fishing, and computer games. Surviving are: Mother, Edith K. Anger of Mt. Morris; siblings, Larry (Bonnie) Anger of Clio, Edwin Anger of Corunna, Christine Rodabaugh of Mt. Morris, Patricia Anger of Flint, Randall Anger of Flint, Paul Anger of Mt.Morris; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and stepchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father Edwin Anger.
