BUCZYNSKI, Waleria Johanna - age 87, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at Durand Senior Care and Rehab. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM Friday, December 24, 2010 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Fr. Steven Mattson celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a scripture service will be held at 6:30 PM. Mrs. Buczynski was born January 26, 1923 in Poland, the daughter of Steffan and Rose Makuch. She married Jakob Buczynski and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1982. They immigrated to the United States in August of 1949. Surviving are: three daughters, Alicia (Gary) Wager of Gaines, Irene (Tom) Cole of Swartz Creek and Lydia (Mark) Duncan of Swartz Creek; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
