Vonna Horwood

Vonna Joan Horwood of Flint went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2020.  Vonna was born in Flint, Michigan on June 20, 1929 to Edith and Ryan Jackson.  She married her beloved Ralph Horwood on July 1, 1978.

Vonna and Ralph enjoyed their church family, traveling, crafting, playing cards and antiquing.  Vonna was an accomplished artist, with awards in water color, mixed media and oil painting. She still enjoyed two groups of painting friends and getting together with her "breakfast club"  gals that have been gathering for over 70 years.  She always had a big smile and the unique ability to make everyone feel comfortable; her home had an open invitation for family and friends. She was a proud Flint Tech alumni and worked at Flint AC Sparkplug.
Above all, Vonna loved her family and The Lord.

Vonna is survived by husband Ralph Horwood, four children:  Jack (Donna) Seder, Linda (George) Dyball, Gayle (Bill) Latreille, Cliff (Nancy) Seder; step daughter Monica (John) Reid; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
