Vivian May McDonald

McDONALD, Vivian May  age 82, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, October 05, 2005 at Brians House Hospice. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Brad Button officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Mrs. McDonald was born February 1, 1923 in Manistee, MI, the daughter of Eddie and Grace (Bruesch) Sanford. She married Maynard M. McDonald on January 8, 1942 in Manistee and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2000. Mrs. McDonald was a member of the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek and a former member of the Flushing VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are: son, Terry McDonald and wife, Juanita of Flint; daughter, Debra and husband, Bruce Ellsworth of Flint; six grandchildren, Terry (Wendy) Ugine of Davison, William (Bev) McDonald, Maria (Shawn) Dye, Dean (Niki) Vargo, Randy Christopher Conrad and Tasha Conrad, all of Flint; sister, Genevieve Carpenter of Midland; brother, Loran Sanford of St. Louis, MI; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Evelyn Sanford; son-in-law, Randy Conrad; sister-in-law, Virginia Sanford. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Brians House.
