Viva M. ROWSE

ROWSE, Viva M., age 92 of Flint Twp., died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Kith Haven. Mrs. Rowse was born in Webberville, Mi on October 18, 1917 and has lived in the Flint area since 1952. She married Duane "Dutch" Rowse on March 28, 1937, he preceded her in death on June 16, 2001. She was a member of Dimond Methodist Church and The Carman Senior Citizens Center. Surviving are her children: Sharon Brannon and husband Marvin of Flint, Gary Rowse and wife Bobbie of Ellington, MO and Joanne Roan-Wismer of Fenton. There are 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a brother, Lloyd Monroe of Williamston, MI and 2 brothers-in-law; Arnold Rowse and Gale Rowse. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother Virgil Monroe. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Rd Chapel 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Pastor Ester Irish will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 Noon to service time. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Brian's House Hospice.
