SEBELA, Virginia Maxine - Age 89, of Lennon, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Decker Cemetery, Blanchard. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Virginia was born January 21, 1922 in Blanchard, the daughter of Clarence and Effie (VanAlstine) Stafford. Surviving are: children, William John Smith of Rockwood, TN, James Bernard (Theresa) Smith of Lennon, Constance Melissa (Greg) Schmidt of Grand Rapids, Joseph George Smith of Midland, Sandra Kaye Smith of Midland; sister, Marjorie Bobowik of Big Rapids; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry August Sebela; step-mother, Olive Stafford; sisters, Ruth Weber, Thelma Ferris, Evelyn Stafford, Opal Voss, Genevieve Korsky, Linnie Rooker.
