Virginia Frances RICHMOND

March 2, 1915 — June 3, 2012

RICHMOND, Virginia Frances, age 97, of Fenton, passed away Sunday June 3, 2012 at Crestmont Nursing Home of Fenton. Private family burial will be at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Virginia was born March 2, 1915 in Howell Michigan, the daughter of the late Paul and Stella (Haight) Bristol. She married Ralph A. Richmond in Detroit on August 18, 1935, he preceded her in death in 1994. Virginia was a very active person, she was a seamstress, she enjoyed gardening, making crafts, watching the PGA Tour and was an active reader, reading anything she could get her hands on. Mrs. Richmond was involved in many organizations including the Garden Club, the Child Study Club, the Sewing Club and was very active in the Girl Scouts of America and the Fenton Eastern Star. Surviving are; daughters, Sharon Honomichl of Grand Blanc and Nancy Richmond of Burton; grandchildren, Sheila (Mitch) Wood, April (James) Laudani, David Honomichl, Lois, Barb, Curt Steele; many great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death also by 2 daughters Ruth Steele and Virginia McCleese and brother Kenneth Bristol. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
