OLDRHAM, Virginia Lee - Age 88, of Flint, died Sunday, December 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle, 1013 Hughes Ave. Flint, MI 48503. Bishop Keith McKinnies officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Friday from 2-8 PM and at the church Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Hometown Heroes of Michigan, 1681 Woodbridge Park Dr., Lapeer, MI 48446 Virginia was born September 26, 1927 in Rector, AR, the daughter of Jim and Louisa (Grooms) Shaw. She married Joe Oldrham December 31, 1944 in Rector, AR and he preceded her in death December 3, 1996. She had resided in Flint for the past 50 years coming from Owosso. Virginia retired in 1986 from Chevrolet Manufacturing after 18 years of service. She was a devoted member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle, where she was head of the Ladies Auxiliary and the church luncheon's and dinner's. Surviving are: 3 children, Ginger and husband Cecil Wilson of Corunna, Donna Bennett of Burton, and Doyle Oldrham of Flint; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Johnny and Joe Oldrham; daughter-in-law, Pamela Oldrham; grandson, Daniel; brothers, Bud and George Shaw; and sisters, Lydia Myricks and Lottie Tucker.
