McCLEESE, Virginia Pauline 'Skip' -- Age 68, of Fenton, died Thursday, Ocotber 5, 2006 at Crestmont Healtcare Center. A Memorial Service will be 2 PM Monday, Ocotber 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor David Hintz officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Crestmont Activities Fund. Virginia was born September 16, 1938 in Flint the daughter of Ralph and Virginia 'Fran' (Bristol) Richmond. She had resided in Fenton the past 4 1/2 years coming from Grand Blanc. She was employed by Michigan Sundries/King Cigar for 27 years. She was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene and a former member of the Fenton O.E.S. She was active on numerous bowling and golf leagues and an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons. Surviving are: mother, Virginia 'Fran' Richmond of Swartz Creek; three sisters Ruth 'Beth' and husband Dana Steele of Apache Junction, AZ, Sharon Honomichl of Swartz Creek, Nancy Richmond of Burton; six nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; and many more relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph. The family extends a special thanks to Crestmont Healthcare Center and Oddysey Hospice for their special care.
