Virginia Arlene LILLY

LILLY, Virginia Arlene "Ginny" - age 86, of Burton and Zephyrhills, FL, died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Christ United Methodist Church, 4428 Columbine Avenue, Burton. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Christ United Methodist Church, DAV or American Heart Association. Ginny Rourke was born August 21, 1925 in Flint, the daughter of William and Beatrice (Sharp) Rourke. She married William G. Lilly on January 19, 1946. Ginny enjoyed traveling to Alaska in the summer. Her hobbies were quilting, painting, bingo, sewing, cards, watching Food Network and General Hospital, dancing, fishing and baking. The most important thing in her life was her family. Ginny was a true friend, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, great grandmother. Virginia leaves 3 children, Robert Lilly (Pam Heath), Beverly (Carl) Mason, Bethany (Gale) Fechik; 9 grandchildren, Tricia, Jeremy, Judy, Amy, Alisa, William, Galena, Carie and Samantha; 15 great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alex, Danielle, Hope, Tiffani, Noah, Sierra, Jacob, Allison, Felix, Elora, Tristan, Mareena, Brennan and Dylan; step grandmother of Carl, Jr., Vincent and Steve; step great grandmother of Elizabeth, Paige, Steven, Alex, Chad, Cora, William, Hannah, Brandon, Ryan and Sam; 2 sisters, Audrey (Ed) Curtis and Shirley (Marv) Rosine; 2 sisters-in-law, Evelyn Rourke and Pat Orr; brother-in-law, Clifford Lawrence; several nieces and nephews.
