Virginia Agnes GYORKOS

GYORKOS, Virginia A., age 87, of Gaylord formerly of Linden, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at Tendercare of Gaylord. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 1:00-4:00p.m.and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Virginia was born March 28, 1924 in Flint the daughter of the late John and Regina (Stephen) Yuhasz. She married Jerry Gyorkos in Flint on November 1, 1941 and hepreceded her in death in 1978. Virginia lived in Florida for 20 years returning to Michigan in 2000. She loved to dress up and go dancing, enjoyed crocheting and walking the beach in Florida. More than anything she cherished her family and spending time with them. Surviving are her 2 children, Ginger Fahler (Ralph) of Gaylord, Gerald Gyorkos (Vicki) of AZ; 8 grandchildren, Billy, Dawn, Kim, Lynn, Shad, Todd, Tom, Laura; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Yuhasz and sister, Irene Price. Special thanks to all the family who supported each other in the care of Virginia.
