CROSS, Virginia -- Age 86, of Linden, died Friday, August 15, 2008 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 20 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, Mr. Gary Coates officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 10 AM - 2 PM and 4-8 PM Tuesday, and 10 AM until the time of funeral on Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Genesys Hospice. Virginia was born April 3, 1922 in Flint the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Mazzara. She was married to Nick Agosta and he preceded her in death in 1949. She was then married to Lloyd Weaver and he preceded her in death in 1986. She had resided in Flint or Linden all of her life. She had worked as a cake decorator for 40 years at the Fenton Bakery and VG's. Surviving are: four children, Joe Agosta and wife Sharon of Tallahassee, FL, Nina and husband Jim Smith of Linden, Dale Weaver of Las Vegas, NV, Theresa and husband Norm Trahan of Linden; 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Brenda, Laura, Jody, James, John, Jared, Joshua, Stacy, and Troy; ten great-grandchildren.
