CLARK, Virginia Lee, age 79, of Grand Blanc, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at MediLodge of Montrose. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2012 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint. Pastor Glenn Gardner and Pastor David Hintz officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint, and 1:00 PM until time of service at the Church. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Virginia was born March 20, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of the late Theron D. and Elsie L. (Covington) Shaw. She was a graduate of Central High School of Flint. Mrs. Clark married William Ray Clark May 28, 1951 in Georgia, she was his "Jen Bug". Jen Bug was a very active individual, volunteering her time with Big Sister, IBG Girls, who she modeled for, and was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. Jen Bug worked at Flint Osteopathic Hospital as well as St. Joseph Hospital as a Nurses Assistant, and retired from Buick as a Keypuncher. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a wonderful cook and was famous for her chicken and dumplings as well as her cherry cream pie. For a past time she loved watching the cooking channel and reading scriptures. She was devoted to her family and to the lord. She was our angel who has earned her wings. Surviving are her husband, William of 61 Years; children, Victoria (Alan) Matheny, Joseph (Dawn) Clark, Debra (David) Walker, and Edward Clark; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
