Virginia Church

CHURCH, Virginia Ileen - age 85, of Linden, died October 28, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Kurtis Koffkey. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linden. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, October 31 and from 10 AM - 11 AM Tuesday, November 1 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association. Virginia was born March 6, 1937, the daughter of Lloyd and Lovilla (Stacey) Miller. She was a graduate of Flint Central. Virginia married Billy Church on July 3, 1956 and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2014. She was known for her cooking and quilting. She enjoyed needlework, sewing and quilting. Virginia donated many quilts to Senior Centers and Schools. Surviving are: three daughters, Julia (Jim) Ridenour of Fenton, Teresa Church of Linden, and Regina (Jerry) Parker of South Lyon; four grandchildren, Tyler (Stephanie) Ridenour, Nicholas (Jeri) Parker, Joshua (Kelly) Ridenour, and Allison (Jordan) Kamal; three great-grandchildren, Aiden and Wesley Parker and Emerson Ridenour; two sisters, Betty (Armand) Chappel and Marion Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; parents, Lloyd and Lovilla Miller; and siblings, Madelon Willet, Russ Miller, Judy Taylor, Jeanette Brunette, and Gloria Miller.
