BLANCK, Virginia Ann- Age 84, of Flint, died Sunday November 4, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, November 8 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Father Ryan Riley celebrant. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 4PM-8PM Wednesday with a 7PM rosary being prayed at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will also be held 10AM until time of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Michigan Chapter, Flint Office, 1125 S. Linden Rd., Suite 950, Flint MI, 48532. Virginia was born in Flint the daughter of the late Charles Herman and Myrtle Lillian (Barker) Blanck. Virginia was a former member of the DeoVolente Chapter of the American Business Woman's Association and a life long member and Eucharistic Minister of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Flint. Virginia retired from St. Joseph Hospital and Genesys Health Park aka Ascension Genesys Hospital for 53 years. She loved photography and arts and crafts. Surviving are: siblings, Harvey and Janice (White) Blanck, Herman and Ellen (Rhiness) Blanck, Sharon and Fred Boettge, Catherine Blanck & husband Garry Staup; many nieces,nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marie (Blanck) Husby.
