AIKMAN, Virginia Marie - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Rev. John Gray officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Virginia Aikman Memorial Fund. Virginia was born October 1, 1923 in Detroit, the daughter of John James and Marie Magdalene (Hackert) Gray. Surviving are: 6 children, Catherine (James) Bennett, Patricia Bliss, Joyce (Tom) Warner, John (Marie) Keller, Ruth (Raymond) Pedrin, Joseph (Diane) Moore; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles (Karen) Gray and Donald Gray; Nephew, John Gray.
