Virgil MAHAN

MAHAN, Virgil - age 83, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at his residence. Private services have been held. Mr. Mahan was born October 18, 1926 in Blytheville, AR, the son of Jessie W. and Lelia (Cook) Mahan. He married Betty Clausel and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Mahan retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Betty of Swartz Creek; two children, Donna Mashni of Swartz Creek, Larry Mahan of Oxford, MS; five grandchildren, Josh and Brandon Mahan of Oxford, MS, Magen and Sami Mashni of Kalamazoo, Madyson Mashni of Swartz Creek; three brothers also survive.
