JEFFERY, Violet L. – Age 88, of Linden, passed away February 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Transfiguration Lutheran Church, 14176 Fenton Rd., Fenton. Pastor Kate Zywicki will officiate. Visitation will be held 3-7PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, and from 10AM until the time of service Saturday at church. Violet was born December 21, 1936, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Augustus and Myrtle (Bratcher) Jeffery. She was a 1954 graduate of Arlington Heights High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University, then a Master's degree from Stanford. Violet was a Special Education teacher for Swartz Creek Schools and a Teacher Consultant for Genesee Intermediate School District.

Violet embraced life with verve, inspiring those around her with her sense of adventure and her deep love and belief in her fellow man. Whether through her dedication to education, her unwavering kindness, or her enthusiasm for new experiences, she left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Louise (Brett) Seavey and Amy Laura (Michael Beubis) Larion; grandchildren, Edward William Seavey, Brittany Elizabeth (Matthew) Kittel, Noah Beubis, and Emma Charlotte Beubis; great-grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Kittel and Cole Matthew Kittel; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Charlotte Nichols and Rosemary Johnson; and her brother, Curran Jeffery.
