Victor Leonard LAKE

LAKE, Victor Leonard - age 69, of Linden, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at his residence. Services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church, 4518 Silver Lake Rd., Linden with Pastor Jack McMaster officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Genesys Hospice. Mr. Lake was born June 30, 1939 in Alabaster Twp., MI, the son of Victor George and Lina Linnia (Nickander) Lake. He married Gale Saupe on June 4, 1966 in Flint. Mr. Lake was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors in 1996. Surviving are: wife, Gale; two children, Faith Lake, Victor Lake II and wife, Lisa, all of Linden; granddaughter, Kirklynd; five brothers and sisters, Leah Minge of Mt. Morris, Paul Lake of Tawas, Linda Becker of Harrison, Lorraine Bates of TX, Bob Lake of FL; several cousins, nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death.
