Vicki Gyorkos

GYORKOS, Vicki Gail - Age 65, of Fenton, died Friday, February 8, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 15, 2019 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Lawrence Bowlin officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at church Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430. Vicki was born March 28, 1953 in Flint, the daughter of Rex and Jane (Rumsey) Voelker. She was a 1971 graduate of Fenton High School. She married Frank J. Gyorkos April 27, 1973 in Flint. She retired in 2008 after from the Hartland Community Schools as a bus driver, where she also was the president of the teamsters local 214. Vicki enjoyed riding and showing horses and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. She also enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Surviving are: her husband, Frank; children, Frank (Laurie) Gyorkos II of Holt, Kari (Jason) Roat of Durand, and Shelli Gyorkos (Talli) of Minot, ND; grandchildren, Joshua, Hannah, Peyton, Noah, Preston, and Alayna; brother, Von (Patti) Voelker; sisters, Yvonne Voelker of Fenton and Lori (Woody) Stidham of South Lyon; and several nieces and nephews.
