Tyson Updike

UPDIKE, Tyson Andrew- Age 44, of Swartz Creek, died April 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday April 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place 4-8 PM Thursday and 12 PM until the time of service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Tyson was born July 21, 1972 in Saginaw, the son of Robert and Kay Ann (Dubay) Updike. He loved spending time with his close friends and family. He also collected Pink Floyd memorabilia and listening to their music. Tyson was a big supporter of his sons' sports and enjoyed attending, Caze's soccer games and Cayden's football games. He was a great father and adored his sons. He is survived by his sons, Caze Blue Sky and Cayden Avel Updike, both of Swartz Creek; parents, Robert and Kay Updike of Hudson IN; brother, Robert Updike Jr., of Saginaw; sister, Angela Updike (David Trapp) of LaGrange IN; and their sons, Samuel Updike, Maxwell Trapp and Jackson Trapp; aunt Carla Updike Nemeth of Saginaw and her sons, Aaron and Brandon; grandmother, Concenttina Ameto-Updike of Saginaw; many other aunts, nieces, and nephews; special friend, Lorraine Virtue; her daughters, Victoria and Kathryn and grandson, Tyson's little buddy, Levi.
