Tresa Sheahan

SHEAHAN, Tresa Verna - Age 92, of Flint Township, passed away at home surrounded by her family, Monday, August 22, 2022.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday August 26, 2022 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek.  Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Thursday from 5-9 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM and at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church Friday August 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Burial will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Tresa was born January 1, 1930 in Durango, CO, the daughter of Solomon and Mary (Trujillo) Sena.  She was a graduate of Lovell High School in Lovell, WY.  She married Frederick D. Sheahan September 26, 1956 in Libby, MT.  She had resided in Flint Township since 1956 coming from Powell, WY.  Tresa was a salesperson for Avon.  She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church; and was a former member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.  She was an avid reader.  She also enjoyed cooking, cleaning, rock hunting, gardening, bowling, taking motorcycle rides; and most of all spending time with her family.

Surviving are: her husband of 66 years, Frederick; children, Robert Ley of Flint Township, Albert Ley (Dayna Miller) of Flint Township, and Fred (Malee) Sheahan of Swartz Creek; son-in-law, Thomas Hull of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Taylor Sheahan (Matt Priest) of Flint, Robby Metcalf of Linden, Suthanya Phunsang of Swartz Creek, Andrew Miller of Swartz Creek and Albert Palmateer; great grandchildren, Gracie Asaro and Sloan Metcalf; brother, Willie Sena of Alaska; and many nieces and nephews.
