Tracy Lynn CHOATE

CHOATE, Mr. Tracy Lynn - Age 54, of Linden, died Monday, February 8, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden, with Pastor Donald Neuville officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice or Genesys Health Foundation. Mr. Choate was born November 27, 1955 in Detroit, the son of Graydon Kyle and Virginia Eloise (Bearup) Choate. He married Chontelle Ann Bowers October 25, 1980 in Linden. He had resided most of his life in the Linden area. Mr. Choate retired in 2008 from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He also served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church. He also enjoyed Blue Grass Festivals and Music. Surviving are: wife, Chontelle; son, Tracy Lynn II and wife Candice Choate of Linden; grandson, Avery Choate of Linden; sister, Susan Choate of Flint; 2 brothers, Kyle Choate and Joel and wife Laurie Choate both of Alpena; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Fenton Medical Center, Jason Frost of Heartland Hospice and Dr. Danish and his staff.
