ALOSON, Tony W. (Wolosonowich) Â Age 79, of Flint, died Friday, February 03, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, February 06, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just south of Hill Rd.), Flint. Interment will follow the services at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Genesee County Sheriff Reserve Deputy Department. Tony was born March 29, 1926 in Owosso, the son of Peter and Rose (Rialon) Wolosonowich. He married Joan Bednarski on January 7, 1961 in Flint. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Teamsters #332 and was a truck driver for Bancroft Trucking and Inter City Trucking for many years. Tony was a lieutenant in the Genesee County Sheriff Reserves for over 15 years. Surviving are: wife, Joan; sister-in-law, Josephine (Robert) Shields; very special friends, Joe (Tina) Wandry; 13 nieces and nephews, Sheila (Dennis) Logan, Michael Bednarski, Randy (Cindy) Shields, Scott Shields, Dennis Shields, Judy (Ron) Hill, Leanne (Mike) Walker, Rosemary (Hiram) Newsom, Eleanor (John) Jando, Judy (Monte), Linda Johnson and sons, Randy Wolosonowich and family; numerous grand nieces and grand nephews.
