Toni Annette LUCAS

LUCAS, Toni Annette (Lurvey)- Age 45, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at home from natural causes. She was born on February 9, 1967, the daughter of Sally (Richardson) and Wyman Lurvey. Toni loved her children "to the moon and back" and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and helping people. She is survived by her children, McKenna R. Lucas and Cross A. Lucas of Chelsea, step-son, Michael R. Lucas of Chelsea, and her children's father, Terry Lucas of Chelsea. Also surviving are her parents, her sister, Tina (Don) Carlock of Flushing, and her brother, Todd (Theresa) Lurvey of Swartz Creek, as well as nieces and nephews Conner, Hayden, Hannah, Macey, Brady, and Trey; special aunts and uncles Rick and Joan Henry, William and Margaret Lurvey, Eldon and Georgann Lurvey, and many special cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and step-son, Justin R. Lucas; and cousin Michael Lurvey. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. Services will also be held 5 PM Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 12-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Christian Outreach Program.
