Toni Corbat

Corbat, Toni G. - Age 62, of Flint, died December 19, 2018, with her family by her side. She bravely confronted and fought cancer. Services will be held 6 PM Wednesday December 26 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Father Jay Gantz officiating. Visitation will be held 3:30 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Andrews Episcopal Church (www.standrewsflint.org) Toni was born March 15, 1956 in Flint the daughter of Shirley and Tom Campbell. She was a 1974 graduate of Kearsley High School. Toni retired from General Motors in 1991 after 17.5 years of service. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, enjoying early morning talks with her husband, working in her yard, chatting with friends, and traveling on her Harley motorcycle with her husband. Toni had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to others and supported those throughout their recovery journey through her leadership with Alcoholics Anonymous. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, James Corbat; children, Traci Barbier, Jon (Michele) Corbat, Nick (Tammy) Corbat; grandchildren, Colton Barbier, Brady and Austin Corbat; brother, Tom (Vicki) Campbell; brother-in-law, Ron Roberts; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Toni was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lorraine; brothers, Hal (Tim) Campbell, Carl Campbell. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
