Timothy Vliet

Vliet, Timothy Ray - Age 57, of Flint, died October 25, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, November 2 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 3-5 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Tim Vliet Memorial Fund. Timothy was born March 21, 1960 in Flint, the son of James and Doris (Welsh) Vliet. He attended Clio High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Carol Worth on April 12, 1980 she preceded him in death on March 17, 2010. He worked in Heating and Cooling. Tim had a funny personality and a big heart. He enjoyed drawing, old movies and woodworking. Surviving are: daughter, Barbra (Shane) Bruno; son, Ron (Sotharin) Gray; grandchildren, Nathan, Justin, Christopher, Katelynn, Sarah and Miranda; father, James; brother, James (Betty) Vliet; sister, Annette (Larry) Gasperosky; several nieces and nephews.
