Timothy Steyer

Steyer, Timothy Joseph - Age 52, of  Grand Blanc., died April 2, 2020 after a lifelong battle with Epilepsy.  Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Saturday, August 8 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Visitation will also be 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.

Timothy was born August 12, 1967 in Tiffin, Ohio the son of Leon and Janice (Scherger) Steyer. He married Judith Webster on April 9, 1994. Tim retired from GM in 2018 having worked at Lansing Delta and Flint Truck and Bus. At work he was called Turbo by his co-workers because he didn’t like to sit still. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and an Applefest volunteer. He was an avid  sports fan, he loved watching sports whenever he could. He was proud to attend his girls sporting events, Lake Fenton school marching band and theatre events. He was happiest when he was watching his children shine. He was a true Ohio State Buckeye Fan. Tim was very social and loved to meet new people. His smile was infectious and he loved to give hugs. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Tim was happiest surrounded by friends and family.

Surviving are: wife of 25 years Judith; three daughters, Jennifer (Jessie) Dowell, Hope Steyer, Gabrielle Steyer; parents Leon and Janice Scherger; siblings, Philip (Margaret) Steyer, Yvonne (Mark) Dubielak, Chris (Patty) Steyer, Gary (Heidi) Steyer, Scott Steyer, Kim Steyer, Patrick Steyer; mother-in-law, Ileen (Howard) Holsinger; sister-in-law Theresa Webster; brother-in-law Phillip Webster; many nieces and nephews; and god children.

He was preceded in death by his son Joshua; and his sister Jennifer.
